Internships

Our interns receive hands-on training in courtroom settings; assist in daily court proceedings, client interviews, jail visits, research and writing, and administrative work. Students will learn how to communicate effectively with the State's Attorney and our client, negotiate fairly, and vigorously advocate for our clients during hearings and trials. Internships are offered for first, second, and third year law students.  All internships are volunteer.

Internships are available in the following divisions:

  • Felony
  • Misdemeanor
  • Juvenile
